I recently stayed at Bailey's for the third time. The location simply can't be beat: it is across the street from the Gloucester Rd. underground station, which offers a choice of several tube lines to get you to almost anywhere in London. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, with several pubs and cafes within a block or two of the hotel. The hotel's Asian restaurant, Bugis, is excellent. My friends and I dined there twice. Bailey's rooms are small. The "Cozy Double" is so small, it's almost silly--in a full-scale hotel. The "Classic Double" is slightly larger and more comfortable, whether for one or two guests. Beds are good, and cleaning is meticulous. I prefer rooms facing the back, which are quieter. Bailey's is attractive, very well-maintained, and a pleasure to stay in. The front desk staff and concierge are very helpful, friendly, and service-oriented. Rooms have small refrigerators, for chilling drinks or foods you might buy at the nearby grocery stores. Laundry and dry cleaning services are available. This has been my go-to hotel in London for a while now, and it will continue to be. When I stay there, even when a solo traveler, I feel at home and well-looked after.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable six night stay recently. The Bailey’s Hotel London Kensington has all of the trimmings, anything you would need whilst being away from home. A suggested improvement would be around food allergies and how best to cater for them. The staff were helpful at all times and the bed and pillows were brilliant. Overall a great place to stay whilst in London, with Gloucester Road Station just across the road.

We had the best stay. Staff were welcoming. Ate at the restaurant it was great. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and spacious for London standards. Location was the best, we used the tube (across the street) for first time & it was so easy we used it all the time. Supermarket across road too. Only change would be better pillows, they were like pancakes.
